Xinhua Publishes Book on China's Governance Under Xi Jinping's Leadership
Beijing (ANTARA) - Xinhua Publishing House, the publishing division of Xinhua News Agency, has released the first volume of “China’s Governance Under Xi Jinping’s Leadership.”
Compiled by Xinhua, the book is available in Mandarin and English and is being distributed to readers both within and outside China.
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the CPC Central Committee with Xi at its core, has, with unprecedented historical initiative, extraordinary political courage, and a strong sense of responsibility, achieved historic achievements and brought about historic changes in the development of the Party and the country.
Amidst the diverse practices of the new era, Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era has been formed, offering guidance for scientific action in building a great country and advancing national rejuvenation in all areas through the modernization of China.
The journalists of Xinhua have witnessed the making of history, producing numerous news articles that reflect Xi’s profound thinking, extensive practice, strong commitment, and remarkable achievements in China’s governance. Xi also serves as the general secretary of the CPC Central Committee.
The first volume includes 26 Xinhua news articles and 41 Xinhua photo stories about Xi, presenting a clear picture of his visionary leadership in guiding China towards national rejuvenation, as well as the strength of Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and its remarkable strength in practice.
A seminar on global governance and the launch ceremony for the English version of the book were held on Tuesday (February 24) in Geneva, Switzerland. The guests at the event highly appreciated China’s exploration and ideas in the field of governance in the new era, and expressed their willingness to further deepen exchanges and cooperation with China in the field of global governance.
