Jakarta, VIVA — Xiaomi Indonesia has once again recorded outstanding achievements as the smartphone market leader in the country.

According to the latest report from research firm Omdia, Xiaomi has cemented its position as the number one smartphone vendor in Indonesia throughout 2025, with a market share reaching 19 per cent.

This achievement was driven by the relevance of Xiaomi’s strategy in delivering premium technology across various segments, as well as the impressive performance of Poco, which successfully dominated the high-performance market niche.

Through its “The True Flagship” proposition, Poco has become the top choice among mobile gaming enthusiasts, ultimately strengthening Xiaomi’s overall dominance in the Indonesian market.

“We observe that Indonesian consumers are becoming increasingly discerning in choosing technology; they are not only seeking devices with high specifications but also an ecosystem capable of enhancing their quality of life. This trust is the driving force for Xiaomi to move into a more ambitious phase this year,” said Xiaomi Indonesia Country Director Wentao Zhao on Thursday, 19 February 2026.

“Human x Car x Home”

The success in 2025 has laid the foundation for Xiaomi to transform the role of smartphones from mere communication devices into control centres for digital life.

Understanding the shift in consumer lifestyles that demand seamless connectivity, Xiaomi has reaffirmed its commitment through its global vision of “Human x Car x Home”. This vision positions Xiaomi as a technology ecosystem company that touches every aspect of users’ lives holistically.

Within this ecosystem, Xiaomi smartphones serve as the primary gateway connecting personal mobility, transportation, living spaces, and various other smart devices in one integrated technological harmony.

Furthermore, Wentao emphasised that the essence of innovation is not measured by the complexity of its features, but rather by how intuitively the technology works for its users. “We want technology to be present as a supporter working behind the scenes, yet its power is tangible in facilitating public productivity,” he said.

To realise this future vision, Xiaomi HyperOS 3 is relied upon as the primary foundation. This operating system is specifically designed as “The Great Connector” that seamlessly unites all Xiaomi ecosystem devices into a single platform.
