Xiaomi records highest sales in September 2026

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Xiaomi recorded a positive sales performance throughout September 2026, with vehicle sales reaching 40,000 units.

ArenaEv reported on Friday (2/10) that the figures achieved by the technology company represent a significant increase compared to 31,267 units in July and approximately 30,153 units in August.

This positive achievement is largely attributed to the recent launch of the SkyNomad. This vehicle utilises an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) system, which combines an electric motor with a 1.5-litre petrol engine acting as a generator to supply additional power when the battery requires extra energy.

Nevertheless, Xiaomi has not provided more specific details regarding the sales figures for the vehicle model that is expected to be the backbone of its sales for the month.

The SkyNomad is available in several configurations specifically targeting the family segment that requires multi-functional vehicles for their needs.

The N70 variant is available in a five-passenger configuration, while the N90 Max offers a seven-passenger capacity. Xiaomi also provides the N90 Max Studio, a five-seater configuration focused more on cabin comfort.

Market response to the new model was evident from the start of sales. More than 10,000 consumers were recorded making orders within just four minutes of the launch.

In terms of range, the N70 Max has an electric range of approximately 505 kilometres based on the CLTC standard.

Meanwhile, the N90 Max is claimed to be capable of travelling up to approximately 1,705 kilometres through a combination of battery and fuel.

Despite the increase in deliveries, Xiaomi still faces a significant target for 2026. In the first nine months of this year, total deliveries reached 286,475 units.

This figure means the company still requires 263,525 vehicles in the final quarter to achieve its annual target of 550,000 units.

This implies that Xiaomi needs to maintain an average delivery of approximately 87,842 units per month until December.

The presence of the SkyNomad is now one of the key factors that will determine Xiaomi’s ability to increase sales volume towards the end of the year.
