Xiaomi has officially strengthened its Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) ecosystem in Indonesia by launching two new devices: the Xiaomi UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W and the Xiaomi Tag.

Both devices are designed to meet the needs of urban consumers seeking high mobility without technical constraints. Andi Renreng, Marketing Director of Xiaomi Indonesia, emphasised that the innovation focuses on the relevance of the devices to users’ daily routines. “Every Xiaomi innovation emerges from consumer needs. Therefore, each Xiaomi AIoT device is designed to be relevant to user routines, particularly in the context of increasingly modern lifestyles,” Renreng stated.

The Xiaomi UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W is a standout feature. True to its name, the device showcases a remarkably compact design with a thickness of only 6mm and weighing 98 grams. With dimensions similar to a card’s size, the power bank can easily slip into a shirt pocket or small bag without taking up space.

In terms of performance, the device supports fast wireless charging up to 15W. Users can also take advantage of USB-C cable charging, which can be used simultaneously. A strong magnetic system ensures the power bank remains stably attached to compatible phones, allowing users to continue operating their phones comfortably whilst charging.

Despite its minimalist design, Xiaomi has equipped it with a 5,000 mAh battery capacity containing 16% silicon-carbon. To ensure safety, there is a temperature management system and multi-layered protection. The device’s body features a premium aluminium alloy material with high durability. The charger is priced at Rp899,000.

Alongside this, Xiaomi also introduced the Xiaomi Tag, a lightweight Bluetooth-based item tracker (10 grams). The key advantage of this device is its flexibility, compatible with both Apple Find My and Google Android Find Hub networks.

The Xiaomi Tag is equipped with a Remote Item Finding feature that allows the device to emit sound when searched through an application. There is also a Lost Mode to include owner contact information, as well as Collaborative Finding which helps accelerate the search for lost items through secure location sharing.

Privacy is also a primary concern; the Xiaomi Tag has an automatic notification feature if an unknown tracking device is detected moving with the user for a certain period. With IP67 certification that is dust and water-resistant, and a CR2032 battery that lasts more than a year, the device is a practical solution for securing keys, bags, and luggage.

The Xiaomi Tag is marketed at Rp199,000 for a single unit pack, whilst the four-unit pack is sold for Rp599,000.
