Xiaomi 17T Series launches globally with telephoto lens support

Xiaomi has launched the 17T Series globally, offering smartphones with telephoto lens support for mobile photography enthusiasts. The Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro models will be launched in Indonesia on 2 June 2026. ‘Mobile photography is no longer about good content, but more about emotional and personal photos and videos,’ said Xiaomi Indonesia Marketing Director Andi Renreng, as quoted in the company’s press release in Jakarta on Friday. ‘From this perspective, the Xiaomi 17T Series enables users to bring every moment and capture to life with advanced features such as Leica Live Moment and Leica 5x Telephoto,’ he added. The series will feature eye-care displays and large-capacity batteries. The Xiaomi 17T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chip, with 12GB RAM and internal storage options of 256GB and 512GB. It has a 50MP main camera, 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x zoom, 12MP ultra-wide rear camera, and a 32MP front camera. The 6500mAh battery supports 67W wired fast charging. Available in Violet, Blue, Opal White, and Black. This phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9500 with 12GB RAM and internal storage options up to 1TB. Rear cameras consist of a 50MP main sensor, 50MP telephoto with 5x zoom, and 12MP ultra-wide, while the front camera is 32MP. It features a 7000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging. Xiaomi 17T Pro is available in three colours: Deep Blue, Deep Violet, and Black.
