Xiaomi 17T Pro Released: Price and Specifications in Indonesia
The Xiaomi 17T Pro has officially launched in Indonesia, earning the title ‘The Telephoto Master’. The device introduces advanced photography technology within a handset designed to capture every moment with superior image quality.
Despite its focus on sophisticated photography, the device does not compromise on performance. The Xiaomi 1ert Pro features an advanced processor from MediaTek and a large-capacity battery, making it suitable for a wide range of digital activities.
“The Xiaomi 17T Pro utilises a powerful Leica Summilux telephoto lens with a periscope structure, maintaining image quality through a 50-megapixel sensor and Optical Image Stabilisation. As a result, ‘The Telephoto Master’ delivers a truly stunning imaging experience,” said Jackson, Product Marketing Manager at Xiaomi, during a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro employs Leica Summilux optical lenses developed in collaboration with Leica. The main camera is equipped with a Light Fusion 950 sensor with a large aperture, capable of capturing light and shadow details realistically with Leica’s signature aesthetic.
Dubbed ‘The Telephoto Master’, the phone relies on a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. This camera is highly versatile, supporting tele-macro features from up to 30 cm and AI Ultra Zoom capabilities of up to 120x. The telephoto camera is paired with a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 32MP front-facing camera.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro features a ‘Titan Design’ concept, emphasising luxury and durability. The body is ergonomically designed with a quad-curved back panel and an aluminium alloy frame, providing a soft-touch feel that ensures the large 6.83-inch screen remains light and comfortable to hold.
The device’s display features ultra-thin, symmetrical bezels for an immersive visual experience. A key innovation is the ‘Xiaomi Vision Care’ feature, Xiaomi’s first comprehensive eye protection system to receive TÜV Rheinland certification. This technology includes optical calibration, hardware-level blue light reduction, and Ultra-precise DC Dimming to protect eye health and user comfort throughout the day.
In terms of performance, the Xiaomi 17T Pro is powered by the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. This processor offers significant improvements in CPU performance and power efficiency, supported by a powerful GPU for smooth heavy graphics handling. Additionally, the device features the latest NPU, enabling AI processing with peak performance up to twice as high as the previous generation, making it the most powerful T-Series device to date.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro utilises a next-generation battery structure with high silicon content and high energy density, boasting a capacity of 7,000 mAh. The device is claimed to last more than 24 hours based on Xiaomi’s standard testing. This battery advantage is supported by a 100W super-fast charging system and 50W wireless hypercharge, capable of reaching a full charge in a very short time.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro is available in Black, Deep Violet, and Deep Blue.
