Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro Launching Soon, Mark the Date
Xiaomi 17T series, an alternative to the flagship Xiaomi 17 series, is confirmed to be launching soon. Xiaomi has announced that the successor to the Xiaomi 15T series will debut in the global market at the end of May. According to a post from Xiaomi on the social platform X/Twitter, the Xiaomi 17T series is scheduled for release on 28 May 2026. This means the mid-to-premium smartphone will debut in around a week.
The post also shows a camera module that appears to protrude. The module houses four cameras, although the Xiaomi T series is generally equipped with three cameras.

If we refer to its predecessor, the Xiaomi 17T series will come in two models, including the Xiaomi 17T “regular” and the Xiaomi 17T Pro.
According to Xiaomi, the new phone will bring a major upgrade. However, details of the upgrade have not been disclosed by the Chinese company.
According to circulating rumours, the Xiaomi 17T series will be equipped with a set of rear cameras, including a 50 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultrawide camera and a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x zoom, accompanied by Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS).
Xiaomi will also mount a 32 MP front camera on both of its new phones.
The Xiaomi 17T series is said to feature a flat display and chassis. The smartphone is reportedly equipped with a 6.59-inch OLED display, 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
For the Pro model, it is possible to have a larger screen, 6.83 inches with a 144 Hz refresh rate.
On the hardware front, the Xiaomi 17T is believed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset, while the Xiaomi 17T Pro uses the Dimensity 9500.
In terms of power, the Xiaomi 17T is believed to come with a 6,500 mAh battery and 67-watt fast charging.
The Pro model will carry a larger battery, 7,000 mAh with 100-watt fast charging via cable or 50-watt wireless.
The two smartphones will be supported by Android 16 and coated with the HyperOS 3 interface.
