Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra to Enter Global Market Without Price Increases
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra will enter the global market without price increases, according to newly leaked information circulating several days after reports emerged suggesting Xiaomi might raise the Xiaomi 17’s price by more than 20 per cent in India.
Gizmochina on Monday (16/2) cited a Dealabs report stating that both the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra would launch in the global market without price increases.
According to the Dealabs report, both handsets will be marketed in Europe at the same prices as the Xiaomi 15 series, despite featuring significant improvements in battery capacity and efficiency.
The Xiaomi 17 is reportedly priced at €999 (approximately Rp19.9 million) for the 12GB/256GB variant and €1,099 (approximately Rp21.9 million) for the 12GB/512GB variant. The device will be available in black, green, blue, and pink.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected to sell for €1,499 (approximately Rp29.9 million) for the 16GB/512GB variant and €1,699 (approximately Rp33.8 million) for the 16GB/1TB variant. The device comes in black, white, and green colour options.
The Dealabs report indicates that the Xiaomi 17 line-up will make its global debut on 28 February 2026, ahead of Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, Spain.
Xiaomi is known for frequently leveraging the period leading up to MWC to attract attention before the technology exhibition is flooded with announcements from competitors.
The Xiaomi 17 features a 6.3-inch LTPO AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and storage options up to 1TB. The handset sports three 50MP Leica-branded cameras and packs a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra arrives with a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. Offering storage up to 1TB, it is equipped with a 6,800 mAh battery supporting 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
Both the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra run Android 16 with the HyperOS 3 interface and are fitted with stereo speakers and high-resolution audio support.
