Xi Jinping Thought Report Released in Kyrgyz and Russian

Versions of a think tank report on Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building in the Kyrgyz and Russian languages were released in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on Monday during the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Media and Think Tank Conference 2026. Titled ‘Contemporary Features and Global Significance of Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building’, the report was jointly released by the National High-Level Think Tank and the Xinhua News Agency National High-Level Think Tank in the Kyrgyz capital. Consisting of approximately 30,000 Chinese characters, the report systematically elaborates on the development, core principles, theoretical characteristics, and global significance of Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building, presenting an in-depth interpretation of the fundamental reasons why the century-old Communist Party of China (CPC) remains vibrant and continues to grow stronger. The report states that the CPC is a party dedicated to realising the happiness of the Chinese people and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, as well as striving for the progress of humanity and global harmony. Standing at the forefront of the development of human political civilisation, Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building, grounded in reflections on the current world and its future as well as the CPC’s governance practices, provides important enlightenment for political parties in all countries, particularly those in the Global South, in their party-building efforts. Media professionals, think tank experts, and scholars from SCO countries attending the conference said the report is an important publication for interpreting Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building for the SCO region. They noted that the report systematically summarises the original theories and practical approaches underlying the century-old CPC’s self-improvement, while addressing governance challenges commonly faced by political parties worldwide. They described the report as an indispensable reference for political party dialogue and academic research within the SCO framework. Participants also said that the publication of the report in Kyrgyz and Russian provides an important resource for political parties, think tanks, and academic institutions across SCO member states to better understand the CPC and China’s governance philosophy. They stated that it will help promote inter-party exchanges and mutual learning on governance, deepen mutual political trust under the guidance of the Shanghai Spirit, and consolidate the intellectual foundation for building a closer SCO community with a shared future.
