XCMG Accelerates Heavy Equipment Deliveries for Infrastructure and Mining Projects Across Multiple Countries
Xuzhou, China (ANTARA/PRNewswire) - XCMG (SHE: 000425) is accelerating the delivery and deployment of various heavy equipment in Angola, Southeast Asia, South America, and Mozambique to support road construction, material lifting, work at height, and environmentally friendly mining projects.
The product shipments include more than 100 units of heavy equipment for integrated road construction in Angola, nearly 300 crawler cranes in Southeast Asia, and 80 aerial work platforms in South America. Meanwhile, in Mozambique, XCMG is delivering an integrated solution for road construction and operating fully electric mining excavators. These various projects demonstrate the breadth of XCMG’s portfolio and its ability to provide services tailored to local market needs.
Angola: More than 100 units of heavy equipment for road construction projects. The shipment of more than 100 units represents the largest single order for conventional construction machinery in Angola in the past decade. The equipment includes crushing and screening machines, material handling equipment, and road construction machinery supporting the entire workflow, from aggregate production to paving. For the first time, mobile and stationary crushing equipment has been introduced to Angola.
XCMG handled the entire process, from manufacturing, quality control, and logistics to after-sales service to ensure the equipment arrived on schedule. The equipment will be used in various major road construction projects for infrastructure, thereby strengthening China-Africa cooperation.
Southeast Asia: Nearly 300 crawler cranes for infrastructure projects. The shipment of nearly 300 crawler cranes is the largest single crawler crane order in Southeast Asia. The product delivery includes the XGC110A, XLC450, XLC90M3, and XLC60M3 models for various infrastructure projects. This achievement demonstrates the growing confidence in XCMG’s products and after-sales services, strengthening the company’s reputation in Southeast Asia. The crane deliveries are expected to accelerate the implementation of various infrastructure projects.
South America: 80 aerial work platforms for infrastructure projects. XCMG delivered 80 aerial work platforms to South America to support various infrastructure projects. The equipment consists of scissor lifts with working heights of 6-16 metres and articulated boom lifts with a height of 12 metres. This product shipment further demonstrates the level of international market acceptance of XCMG’s aerial work platforms.
Mozambique: Integrated solutions for infrastructure and environmentally friendly mining. In Mozambique, XCMG is providing an integrated solution for road construction projects, as well as operating fully electric mining excavators. This solution supports infrastructure improvement and more environmentally friendly mining activities.
In Beira, one of the main transport hubs with increasingly ageing road conditions, limited equipment, and inadequate asphalt production capacity, XCMG is providing a solution that covers asphalt production, paving, compaction, and road rehabilitation. The equipment used includes asphalt mixing units, paving machines, and cold recyclers, which can support new road construction, reconstruction, and maintenance. The solution also improves efficiency as well as road quality.
For the first time, Mozambique is using an electric mining excavator, the XE1350E. This zero-emission, low-noise machine is equipped with an intelligent, real-time fault monitoring system. The XE1350E combines high productivity with low energy consumption and has received positive feedback from local customers.
