Wuling Announces Official Price for Wuling Eksion SUV, Cheapest Starting at Rp389 Million
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Wuling Motors Indonesia has officially introduced the price of the Wuling Eksion. This seven-passenger electrified SUV from Wuling is available in two powertrain options: pure battery (BEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV).
In the price announcement at Kota Kasablanka on Wednesday afternoon (22/4/2026), the cheapest Eksion is offered at Rp389 million, for the EV CE model. The EV CX variant is priced at Rp459 million. The PHEV CE is priced at Rp449 million, and the PHEV EX at Rp499 million.
“These prices are for the first 2,000 buyers. After that, there will be a price adjustment,” said Wuling Motors Indonesia Marketing Director Ricky Christian at the launch event.
Ricky added that the SUV segment is the backbone of Wuling in the national automotive market. Since 2019, Wuling has sold more than 40,000 SUV units in the form of Almaz, Almaz RS, Almaz Hybrid, Alvez, New Almaz RS Hybrid, and New Alvez. This success is expected to be continued by Eksion.
“The SUV segment now has a significant contribution in the Indonesian market, accounting for around 29% of the national automotive market. Interestingly, 33% of this segment already uses electrification technology or NEV,” said Ricky.
He assessed that this condition opens up great opportunities for Wuling to introduce an electrified SUV that meets market needs.
Targeting Indonesian families
Eksion is designed as a seven-passenger SUV. Wuling sees this configuration as still the primary choice for Indonesian consumers, especially for family needs. Ricky said that Wuling designed its product based on input from local consumers.
According to Ricky, consumers want better efficiency for daily use.
“For that, we are presenting a product line that can provide comfort, efficiency, and protection in every journey, namely the Wuling Eksion. Indonesia’s first seven-seater SUV supported by EV and PHEV technology,” said Ricky.
