WSBP Concrete Supply for Probolinggo–Banyuwangi Toll Road Package 3 Nearing Completion, Ahead of 2026 Eid Homecoming
In this project, WSBP supplies a number of concrete products, including 84 PC-I girders, 65 spun piles, 3,810 square piles, and 103,650 m³ of readymix concrete. All precast concrete has been supplied, while the progress of readymix concrete supply has currently reached 93%.
The supply of readymix concrete is supported by Batching Plant WSBP Proban, which has a production capacity of 7,392 m³ per month. With its relatively close location to the project area, concrete distribution can be carried out optimally, ensuring that the quality and integrity of the concrete are maintained until the pouring process.
“On the Paiton–Besuki section with a total length of 25.6 km, which is planned to be used for the Eid al-Fitr exodus, WSBP contributed by supplying precast concrete and ready-mix concrete for a 5.8 km segment. The supply of readymix concrete for the main road has been fulfilled in order to support the readiness for the 2026 Eid al-Fitr exodus,” said Fandy Dewanto, Vice President of Corporate Secretary WSBP.
The supply of readymix concrete for the main road is currently in its final stages. Casting at several points on the main road and barriers is still ongoing and is targeted for completion before the homecoming period, so that all concrete materials supplied by WSBP are ready to support operations on that section.
As a concrete material supplier, WSBP consistently implements quality control from the production process to distribution to the project site. This is done to ensure that every product used in strategic infrastructure projects meets the specified technical specifications and quality standards.
“With plans to open the Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Toll Road for the 2026 Eid al-Fitr exodus, WSBP ensures that all concrete materials supplied meet the established quality standards and technical specifications. We are committed to this in order to guarantee the safety and comfort of road users, especially those traveling to eastern Java,” he added.
With the functional opening of this toll road, travel time to East Java is expected to become more efficient.
