World Today: Israel and Lebanon Agree on Ceasefire

The former Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, has been arrested by the Attorney General’s Office following an investigation into alleged corruption. On Wednesday, Dadan, along with two other BGN officials, was escorted out of the Attorney General’s Office in handcuffs and placed into a waiting police vehicle.

The two other individuals arrested are retired Major General Lodewyk Pusung and Police Brigadier General Sony Sonjaya, a BGN deputy who was also dismissed on Tuesday night (02/06).

During a press conference, the Director of Investigation for the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, Syarief Sulaiman, stated that the authorities possess evidence that they manipulated the procurement process and awarded contracts to foundations to manage kitchens, despite these foundations not meeting the necessary requirements to do so.
