World Growing More Chaotic, Iran Prepared for 'Doomsday War' with US

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghability has asserted that his country is prepared to face a ‘doomsday war’ with the United States, though he noted that Iran will not ‘miss any opportunity for peace’.

Araghchi made these remarks during an appearance on NBC News’ ‘Meet the Press’ following the 81st UN General Assembly (UNGA) last week. The US and Iran have been engaged in conflict since 28 February, which has triggered global oil and gas shocks due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and led to surging inflation in many nations.
