World Bank loan to RI

WASHINGTON (Reuter): The World Bank said on Wednesday it had
approved a US$66.4 million credit to help finance renewable
energy sources in Indonesia.

World Bank officials have said they would like to see total
donor aid to Indonesia remain at last year's levels of $5.26
billion this year.

They forecast strong economic growth in Indonesia this year,
although they are worried about high core inflation rates and a
relatively weak banking sector.
