World Bank loan for RI project
WASHINGTON (AFP): The World Bank announced it had approved a US$104 million loan to Indonesia to fund a project to expand junior secondary education.
The project includes expanding access to schools, improving the quality of education and strengthening education management.
The project is estimated to cost $154.1 million.
The World Bank said Indonesia has one of the best rates of education expansion in the world, has virtually attained universal access to primary education and plans to increase efforts to expand secondary education.
