Workplace Transformation Drives Companies to Boost Employee Skill Investment
Technological changes, business models, and industry needs are making the ability of workers to continuously improve their skills increasingly important. Investment in human resource development has therefore become one of the strategies companies use to face the changing world of work.
VP Human Resources of Danone Indonesia, Rizki Raksanugraha, said that developing worker capabilities must go hand in hand with creating a work environment that provides room for employees to grow.
“With a mission to bring health through food to as many people as possible, Danone Indonesia believes that success in delivering a positive impact for society starts with employees who continue to grow,” said Rizki in a statement on Sunday (9/8/2026).
According to him, the company strives to create a work environment that enables every individual to develop, collaborate, and make their best contribution.
The strategy is carried out through capability development, continuous learning, talent management, and the creation of a work environment that supports wellbeing and diversity.
“At Danone Indonesia, we believe that every individual has the potential to grow when placed in the right environment,” he said.
“Therefore, we continue to build a work culture that prioritises continuous learning, collaboration, diversity, and employee wellbeing,” Rizki continued.
These efforts received the Top Employer Indonesia 2026 certification from the Top Employers Institute. The certification was awarded following an assessment and audit process lasting more than 120 days covering more than 20 aspects of human resource management.
In the assessment, Danone Indonesia recorded performance above the global benchmark in a number of aspects, namely wellbeing, career development, diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), and sustainability.
The results show that workforce development is not only related to improving technical competence, but also encompasses wellbeing, career development opportunities, diversity, and an inclusive work environment.
Danone Indonesia runs a number of employee development programmes, ranging from capability and leadership improvement and talent management to support for physical and mental wellbeing.
“The Top Employer 2026 certification is an appreciation of that journey as well as a motivation for us to continue delivering the best experience for all employees so that they can grow and together realise Danone’s mission of bringing health through food to as many people as possible,” said Rizki.
These conditions make a culture of continuous learning important so that workers are not only able to keep up with change, but also increase their capacity and open up career development opportunities.
For the business world, investment in human resources also does not stop at a company’s internal management. Improving worker competence and wellbeing can support workforce readiness in facing economic changes and industry needs.
“We will continue to strengthen our commitment to building an inclusive, collaborative work environment oriented towards human resource development, so that every employee can grow together with the company while contributing to realising health through food,” Rizki asserted.
