Workers protest in Bandung

BANDUNG: Hundreds of workers reported mistreatment to the West Java legislative council on Tuesday, Antara reported.

Workers from PT Bratatex arrived in two trucks, with 60 of them claiming to represent 600 employees.

They told legislators of "inhumane treatment", including arbitrary dismissals and low wages.

They also requested a transportation allowance of Rp 2,000 and health facilities.
