Worker killed by lightning

BEKASI, West Java (JP): A construction worker died here on
Friday after being hit by lightning as he sheltered under a
makeshift shanty during a downpour.

Nurdin, 26, a resident of Kedawung village, Tambun, was
working on a Puri Asri housing construction project.

He was badly injured by the lightning and was taken to Bekasi
general hospital for treatment.

A doctor in charge at the hospital said Nurdin had died before
he could receive any medical treatment.

Relatives took his body from the hospital to be buried in his
