Woman's body found in Bogor turns out to be an assault victim; suspect arrested

Bogor City Police say a suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of a 52-year-old woman identified as A, who was found lying on Jalan Sholeh Iskandar, Tanah Sareal District, Bogor City. The woman was found lying on the street. A video of the discovery circulated on social media, showing several residents at the scene and the victim being transported by ambulance. It is reported that the victim was found with her eyes closed, and a neck wound was later discovered. Police are continuing their investigation into the incident. ‘The operation to visit the crime scene of the discovery of the victim lying by the roadside has been carried out; it is suspected that she died,’ said Tanah Sareal Police Chief Kompol Dody Rosjadi. The victim was first found at around 01:15 a.m. WIB this morning. When found, police said no personal belongings of the victim were recovered.
