Woman jailed for pinching breasts

SINGAPORE: A 35-year-old Singapore woman who pinched her
Indonesian maid's breasts and nipples in a fit of rage has been
jailed for three months, a report said on Friday.

Tan Kim Boey was said to have been furious when she saw the
maid, Siti Solikhatun Nasirun, putting her daughter face down on
a bed.

She poked Siti, 22, in the head with a chopstick, and when the
maid put up a struggle Tan pulled off her T-shirt and bra and
pinched her breasts and nipples, the Straits Times said.

When police took the maid to the hospital, a medical
examination found multiple bruises on her upper limbs, breasts
and groin area. In March, a Singapore woman was jailed for five
years for biting the nipple off of an Indonesian maid.

About 140,000 foreign domestic workers, mostly poverty-
stricken women from Southeast Asia and South Asia, are employed
in Singapore. --AFP
