A woman named Nuraini (64) was found dead in her home in Ketapang Village, Ketapang District, South Lampung. Police discovered several injuries on the victim’s body and are currently investigating the exact cause of death. Penengahan Police Chief Iptu Donal Afriansyah stated that the victim was first discovered by a family member on Monday (20/7) at around 7.00 p.m. local time. The victim, who lived alone, was already deceased when found. “The victim was found by her family at her home in a deceased state. The incident was subsequently reported to the police,” Donal told reporters on Tuesday (21/7). After receiving the report, police processed the crime scene and evacuated the victim’s body to Dr Bob Bazar Kalianda Regional General Hospital for an autopsy. Initial examination results indicate there were several injuries on the victim’s body, including wounds to the back of the head and face, bruising on the neck, and both hands. The forensic doctor also found injuries caused by a sharp object. “Visually, several injuries are indeed visible, including slash wounds. However, we are still awaiting the official autopsy results to confirm the cause of death,” Donal said.
