Woman in Bogor Said She Planned to Have Coffee with a Friend Before Being Found Dead

Tanah Sareal Police Sector Chief Kompol Dody Rosjadi said the victim had said goodbye on Friday (22 May) at around 22:00 WIB. This was disclosed by the victim’s family to investigators.

‘According to the testimony of the victim’s relative, they stated that at 22:00 WIB the victim said she would go out for coffee with a friend,’ Dody said on Saturday (23 May 2026).

After the body was found, the victim was evacuated to a hospital. Meanwhile, the perpetrator who assaulted the victim has been arrested.

The Assault Victim

Earlier, a woman identified by the initials A (52) who was found lifeless on Jalan Sholeh Iskandar, Tanah Sareal District, Bogor City, turned out to be the victim of an assault. The perpetrator has been arrested, police said.

‘Yes (arrested), but I am still waiting for the full report from Reskrim,’ said the Public Relations Head of Bogor City Police, Ipda Imam Dwi.

He explained that, based on initial information, A was initially believed to be a victim of theft. The act then continued to assault.

‘At first theft, but it became curas (robbery with violence),’ he explained.

The victim was first found at around 01:15 WIB this early morning. At the time of discovery, no personal belongings of the victim were found missing.
