Woman gang-raped after Net date

KUALA LUMPUR (AP): A Malaysian teenager was gang-raped by five
men after meeting one of them on the Internet and arranging a
blind date, news reports said on Thursday.

Police said the 15-year-old girl agreed to meet a 20-year-old
man last Friday at an outdoor evening market near the capital,
Kuala Lumpur, after chatting with him for two weeks over the
Internet.

As she walked to their meeting spot, the man, who had asked
the girl to describe her attire, pulled up on a motorcycle and
offered her a ride. He drove her off to a nearby banana
plantation where four of his friends were waiting, police were
quoted as saying in The Malay Mail newspaper.

Chief assistant police commissioner Mat Zain Ibrahim said the
men held the girl captive for 15 hours as they took turns raping
her.
