Woman Found Dead Lying on Yasmin Street, Bogor, Suspected Neck Injury

Bogor, Kompas.com - A woman was found dead, lying on Sholeh Iskandar Street in the Tanah Sareal district of Bogor City, in the early hours of Saturday (23 May 2026). Police Chief of Tanah Sareal, Kompol Doddy Rosjadi, explained that the victim was found unconscious on the road near the Yasmin junction at 01:15 WIB. ‘The victim was found lying by the roadside, believed to have died. The victim had no identification or personal belongings,’ Doddy said when contacted by Kompas.com on Saturday.

From identification, the victim was known by the initials A (52), a resident of Kemang, Bogor Regency.

Police went to the victim’s home and obtained information from the family. The victim reportedly had told a friend she would go out for coffee earlier in the day, using a Toyota Yaris in orange, with plate B.2903 SKK.

He added that the body had been transported to RS Polri Kramat Jati for autopsy. The case remains under investigation by the police.

‘(The victim) had already died and was taken to the hospital, where autopsy is being performed at RS Kramat Jati. Still under inquiry.’

The discovery of the victim’s body drew the attention of passersby at the scene.
