Woman Arrested in Cilegon for Distributing Three Types of Narcotics

Police have arrested a woman with the initials MR (26) suspected of distributing three types of narcotics. Officers seized crystal methamphetamine, ecstasy and synthetic tobacco (sinte) from MR.

“The suspect is a 26-year-old woman, a resident of Kebon Dalam, Purwakarta, Cilegon. Our officers arrested MR at a house located in Kebonsari, Citangkil,” said the Head of the Narcotics Unit at Cilegon Police, Inspector Gregorius Michael, at a press conference on Tuesday (15/9/2026).

Gregorius said officers discovered the narcotics while sweeping the arrest location. Police found 398.48 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 360 ecstasy pills and 98.90 grams of synthetic tobacco.

“During the search conducted by our officers, three types of narcotics were found as evidence, namely crystal methamphetamine, ecstasy and synthetic tobacco,” he said.

MR admitted to collecting the drug package the afternoon before her arrest on Wednesday (10/6). She is said to have received the illicit goods at the roadside near a fish auction site from a major distributor.

“The suspect MR obtained the crystal methamphetamine, inex (ecstasy) and synthetic tobacco from a person with the initials G,” he said.

Police said MR received cash payment as well as free methamphetamine use from the individual with the initials G. Officers are now hunting for G.

“The modus operandi is that the suspect MR received a fee of Rp 200,000 and could use methamphetamine for free. This is the perpetrator’s modus operandi in committing narcotics crimes. We are continuing to investigate and develop the whereabouts of the individual with the initials G to dismantle the network above her,” he said.
