Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — PT Wahana Ottomitra Multiartha Tbk (WOMF), also known as WOM Finance, has appointed Steffano Ridwan as its new President Commissioner.

This decision was made during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPST) and the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPSLB) on Monday (30/3/2026), held at the Function Hall, Sentral Senayan 3 Building, 28th Floor, Jl. Asia Afrika No. 8, Gelora Bung Karno area, Senayan, Central Jakarta.

Steffano, who serves as the President Director of PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk (BNII), the majority shareholder of WOMF, explained that his appointment stems from the request of the shareholders. According to him, the purpose of this appointment aligns with the Maybank Group’s working strategy, namely ROAR30.

“A few times ago, Maybank Indonesia just launched what is called the Five-Year Work Plan up to 2030. And of course, with this change, with my entry here as well, this is a synergy with Maybank Indonesia to make ROAR30 for WOM become one of Indonesia’s leading financing companies, of course, it can become more achievable or easier to achieve,” Steffano explained to reporters after the meeting on Monday (30/3/2026).

One of the synergies between Maybank and WOM Finance in the future will be in the development of Islamic financing at WOMF. Steffano noted that the Malaysian-origin Maybank Group is one of the largest Islamic banks in the world, and they want to leverage that added value in developing WOM Finance’s business.

Furthermore, Maybank aims to synergise with WOM Finance in strengthening governance, IT capabilities, technology, and others. In addition, Steffano mentioned that they will also conduct cross-selling from retail customers to WOM Finance.

“All for automotive business financing, we channel through the two financing companies we own. The first is Maybank Finance, and the second is WOM Finance. For Maybank Finance, the focus is on new cars, and for WOM Finance, on two-wheelers, refinancing, and other retail financing. So the segments are clear, as well as their purposes,” he stated.

In the RUPST & RUPSLB, the terms of several directors have ended, including Djaja Suryanto Sutandar as President Director of WOMF. Steffano said they are in the process of appointing a replacement for that position, which will be appointed in the next 2 to 3 months.

In connection with the meeting’s decisions, the composition of the Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors, and Sharia Supervisory Board of WOM Finance is officially set as follows:
