Witnessing Jasa Raharja's CLA Signing, Manpower Minister Entrusts Three Strategic Agendas
PT Jasa Raharja, together with the Jasa Raharja Workers Union (SPJR), signed the 2026 Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) as a commitment to strengthening harmonious, productive, and sustainable industrial relations. The signing was witnessed directly by Indonesia’s Manpower Minister, Yassierli, alongside Jasa Raharja’s Board of Directors and union officials in Jakarta on Wednesday (24/06/2026). The agreement serves as a guideline governing the working relationship between the company and its employees, reflecting a mutual commitment to creating a conducive, inclusive, and adaptive work environment for future industry challenges. In his remarks, Minister Yassierli appreciated Jasa Raharja’s long journey of more than six decades in carrying out the state mandate to provide basic protection to victims of road traffic accidents and public transport passengers. According to Yassierli, good industrial relations must not only remain harmonious but must evolve into a transformative relationship where management and workers can collaborate to face company challenges while making a broader contribution to society. He stated that a CLA is not the final goal, and good industrial relations must drive collaboration between management and workers to tackle company challenges while delivering a greater impact for the nation and state. He also highlighted the importance of building an inclusive and sustainable employment ecosystem, including opening wider opportunities for disabled groups and strengthening human resource development to face changes in the world of work. Beyond industrial relations, Yassierli entrusted at least three strategic agendas to Jasa Raharja. First, to maintain and continuously improve the quality of service to the public as a representation of the state’s presence in providing basic protection to accident victims. Second, to accelerate digital transformation to boost productivity, efficiency, and service quality. Third, to strengthen the preventive and promotive role in building a national transport safety culture. He noted Jasa Raharja’s highly strategic role and expressed hope that the company would continue to strengthen its services, properly oversee digital transformation, and take a greater role in building a transport safety culture, which would have a real impact on society and the nation. He specifically highlighted the still high number of traffic accidents in Indonesia, noting that behind every accident statistic is a family that has lost a loved one, making prevention efforts a shared concern. Jasa Raharja President Director Muhammad Awaluddin stated that the 2026 CLA is the result of dialogue built on a constructive partnership between management and the union, describing it not merely as an administrative document regulating rights and obligations but as an instrument of corporate transformation built on mutual respect and a willingness to find joint solutions. He said the relationship between management and the union has been a crucial foundation for maintaining corporate sustainability while ensuring optimal public service, and the company continues to push for transformation involving all Jasa Raharja personnel. Awaluddin added that the company’s digital transformation is directed at accelerating service processes and improving the quality of public protection, while also strengthening various educational programmes and cross-sector collaboration to support a traffic safety culture. SPJR Chairman Saleh Ibrahim stated that the union has a strong interest in the company’s progress and encourages its members to contribute positively, as corporate advancement is expected to improve member welfare, in line with the union’s motto. Through the signing of the 2026 CLA, Jasa Raharja and SPJR affirmed their joint commitment to building inclusive, productive, and sustainable industrial relations, expected to further strengthen synergy between management and workers in supporting corporate transformation and enhancing the company’s contribution to national transport safety culture.
