Witnessed by Prabowo, Attorney General Hands Over Rp10.2 Trillion and 2.3 Million Hectares of Land to Purbaya

Jakarta, VIVA – Attorney General ST Burhanuddin handed over the proceeds of administrative fines from the Forest Area Regulation Task Force (Satgas PKH) to Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa. The fines handed over amounted to Rp10.2 trillion and 2.3 million hectares of land. The handover took place at the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) on Wednesday, 13 May 2026. Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto directly witnessed the handover of the confiscated funds from the Satgas PKH’s work. “We are reporting and handing over the funds from the follow-up actions on forest area regulation by Satgas PKH to the state through the Ministry of Finance, totalling Rp10.2 trillion, to be deposited into the state treasury,” said the Attorney General. He explained that the proceeds of these fines will be used for PBB and non-PBB taxes. According to him, this handover of funds is not merely ceremonial but evidence of the work of Satgas PKH. This pile of money in front of us is not just part of a ceremony, but real proof of Satgas PKH’s performance that has been present to protect national interests through collaborative law enforcement,” he clarified. Also present at the return of the administrative fines were State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Defence Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Head of BPKP Yusuf Ateh, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, and Head of BPI Danantara Rosan Roeslani.
