Attorney General ST Burhanuddin deposited the proceeds from administrative fines and forest area land recovered by the Forest Area Enforcement Task Force (Satgas PKH). The fine proceeds amounted to Rp 10.2 trillion, along with 2.3 million hectares of land, which were handed over to Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa. The handover of the trillions in funds and land took place at the Attorney General’s Office in Kebayoran, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (13/4/2026). The event was witnessed directly by President Prabowo Subianto. “We are reporting and handing over the funds from the follow-up enforcement of forest areas by Satgas PKH to the state through the Ministry of Finance, totalling Rp 10.2 trillion, to be deposited into the state treasury,” said ST Burhanuddin. Burhanuddin explained that the fine proceeds would be used for PBB and non-PBB taxes. According to him, this handover of funds is not merely ceremonial. “This pile of money in front of us is not just part of a ceremony, but concrete evidence of the performance of Satgas PKH, which has been present to protect national interests through collaborative law enforcement,” he said. “This aligns with the government’s spirit through Satgas PKH in restoring state control over land in forest areas and state revenues, aimed at realising the nation’s ideals where natural wealth is maximally utilised for the benefit of the wider society,” he added. The Rp 10.2 trillion pile from the forest case was placed on both sides of the event stage. The money was arranged like a pyramid, approximately 3 metres high. The entire stack consisted of Rp 100,000 denomination notes. Several people were seen guarding it.
