JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Entering April 2026, or precisely after the Lebaran period, prices for new cars in various segments tend to remain stable despite slight increases. Meanwhile, in the low multi-purpose vehicle (LMPV) segment, the prices are still the same as in early March 2026. This means there have been no price changes from each brand marketing them. Nevertheless, there is a slight change in the LMPV segment. The petrol Toyota Veloz is no longer listed on the official Toyota Indonesia website, and its position has been replaced by the hybrid version. The introduction of the Veloz Hybrid not only adds electrification options in the LMPV segment but also becomes a rival to the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid, which has been the main player so far. However, compared in terms of price, the Ertiga Hybrid is still more affordable. But in terms of technology, the Veloz Hybrid offers more modern features. First, the Daihatsu Xenia with the cheapest variant is sold for Rp 228,650,000 on the road (OTR) Jakarta. Then, there is the Wuling Confero with prices starting from Rp 188 million to Rp 235 million, and the Wuling Formo whose price competes with the LCGC segment.
