Without a bridge, primary school students rely on river crossing to reach school

Students at SD Negeri Padahayu 2 in Cikedal, Pandeglang, Banten, are forced to cross the Cipunten Agung River to reach their school, as no bridge connects their village to the educational facility. The river, which spans 26 metres in width, serves as the shortest route for the children, who must wade through the water each day. Parents are often seen carrying their young children across the river to ensure their safety. The lack of a bridge not only endangers the students but has also led to a decline in the number of pupils enrolled at the school.
