The installation of the board of the Indonesian Advocates Association Professional (PERADI Professional) is scheduled to take place at the Fairmont Hotel in Jakarta on Friday, 8 May 2026. This event signifies a further step by this new advocates’ organisation in strengthening professionalism and integrity in the legal field.

The installation event has obtained permission from the National Police Headquarters through a letter issued by the Deputy Chief of Intelligence and Security and signed by Commissioner Police Ade Yaya Suryana. Additionally, permission has been granted by the Metro Jaya Regional Police through a letter signed by Commissioner Miko Indrayana.

The letter grants permission to the PERADI Professional Leadership Council, with Bambang Herry Purnomo as the responsible person. The document also specifies the installation of the national leadership board for the 2026–2031 period. The event is planned to be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Fairmont Hotel Jakarta starting at 6:00 PM Western Indonesia Time.

Previously, PERADI Professional was declared at the Indonesia Kempinski Hotel in Jakarta on Thursday, 5 March. This declaration marks the presence of a new advocates’ organisation that is expected to address challenges in the legal world.

The General Chairman of PERADI Professional, Harris Arthur Hedar, stated that the organisation he leads is not intended to compete with other advocates’ organisations, but rather as a response to the dynamics occurring within the legal profession.

“PERADI PROFESSIONAL or PERADIPROF is a professional organisation based on quality, ethics, and character. PERADIPROF is not a competitor but emerges as an answer to our collective concerns. We are here to ensure that this profession remains dignified and continues to be officium nobile—a noble profession,” said Harris.

According to him, the advocate profession currently faces several challenges, including declining public trust and organisational fragmentation. He also highlighted the tendency to use the advocate profession for short-term interests.

Harris added that technological developments and digital transformation are bringing new dynamics to legal practice. Digital-based innovations up to technology financing systems are seen as creating new legal relationships that are not yet fully accommodated in conventional legal systems.

This organisation was founded by three advocates who are also academics, namely Harris Arthur Hedar, Fauzie Yusuf Hasibuan, and Abdul Latif. Legally, PERADI Professional has obtained approval from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights through Ministerial Decree Number AHU-0000086.AH.01.07 of 2026.
