With Improving Performance and Financing, BTPN Syariah Optimistic About Growth

PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk is optimistic about its business prospects going forward, in line with the improving quality of its financing portfolio and the company’s financial performance. The bank has also prepared a number of strategies to open new sources of growth without sacrificing financing quality.

“BTPN Syariah is quite optimistic about the future development of the business, supported by a portfolio performance that, thank God, continues to improve, as well as financial performance that keeps getting better,” said Arief at the BTPN Syariah Public Expose on Monday (7/9/2026).

According to him, increasingly punctual customer repayment rates have further strengthened the bank’s growth prospects. Given these conditions, BTPN Syariah is optimistic that future business growth can proceed more sustainably.

As of the first half of 2026, BTPN Syariah recorded a net profit of Rp 655 billion. The bank’s assets grew 8 per cent year on year to Rp 23 trillion, while financing rose 9 per cent to Rp 11 trillion.

This performance was underpinned by a number of financial ratios that remained strong. Return on Assets (RoA) was recorded at 7.2 per cent and the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) reached 58.7 per cent.

Arief said the company is currently focused on maintaining a balance between business growth and financing quality. According to him, healthy quality is the foundation for creating long-term growth and value.

“We believe that sustainable growth can only be built upon healthy quality. Therefore, we continue to strengthen assistance to customers whilst opening new growth opportunities that can complement our core business,” he said.
