Winning the 2026 ASR Award, Bank BSN Affirms Commitment to Transformation
PT Bank Syariah Nasional has received the Best Transformation Award at the Anugerah Syariah Republika (ASR) 2026. The President Director of Bank Syariah Nasional, Alex Sofjan Noor, stated that the award serves as a motivation for the company to continuously improve service quality and strengthen its ongoing transformation.
“Bank Syariah expresses its deepest appreciation and gratitude to Republika for presenting us with the Best Transformation Award. This provides us with the spirit to continue transforming how we serve the Sharia community,” said Alex at the ASR 2026 event in Jakarta on Wednesday (1/7/2026).
Alex noted that the opportunities within Indonesia’s Sharia financial industry remain immense. Consequently, Bank Syariah Nasional is accelerating its digital transformation to ensure that its services increasingly align with the needs of the public.
According to Alex, the strengthening of digital services is also expected to enhance the customer experience while expanding access to Sharia-compliant financial services.
“The Sharia market share in Indonesia is very large. Therefore, we are ready to accelerate our transformation towards digital to meet customer service requirements,” he added.
Bank Syariah Nasional received the Best Transformation Award at the Anugerah Syariah Republika 2026. The award is presented to institutions judged to have successfully implemented transformations and contributed to the strengthening of the national Sharia economic ecosystem.
The Anugerah Syariah Republika 2026 is part of the Indonesia Sharia Forum (ISF) 2026 series, which carries the theme ‘Sharia for All: Beyond Profit, Toward Purpose’. This event recognises industry players, institutions, and figures who contribute to driving the development of the Sharia economy in Indonesia.
The judging process for ASR 2026 was conducted alongside an independent jury team from Karim Consulting Indonesia. The awards are expected to encourage stakeholders to continue delivering innovation, expanding inclusion, and strengthening the Sharia economic ecosystem.
