Wing Box Truck Driver Named Suspect in Indramayu Crash That Killed 12

Indramayu Police have named A, the driver of a wing box truck, as a suspect in a fatal pile-up on the Pantura route in Kiajaran Kulon Village, Lohbener District, Indramayu, West Java. The accident resulted in 12 fatalities and six injuries.

The suspect, a man from Purwakarta, was taken into custody after police gathered evidence and examined witnesses. Indramayu Police Chief AKBP Mochamad Fajar Gemilang confirmed the development, stating that the driver is being charged under the Traffic and Road Transport Law (LLAJ).

If found guilty, the suspect faces a maximum prison sentence of six years. Police are continuing their investigation to determine the detailed causes of the crash, which involved three vehicles: a pick-up truck and two lorries.
