PADANG, West Sumatra: Dozens of houses were destroyed by a strong wind that swept through the Andalas University housing complex in Ulugadut near here on Friday.

There were no reports of casualties, Antara said.

Fortunately, most of the houses were not occupied because of disputes between the buyers and the developers for lack of basic facilities like running water and electricity. (31)
