After opening registrations in three batches, Kemnaker successfully attracted hundreds of thousands of participants, with a total of 102,697 passing the selection. Manpower Minister’s Explanation on the 2026 National Internship Programme
So far, Kemnaker has not provided detailed information on the implementation schedule for the 2026 National Internship Programme. However, based on an Instagram post by @yassierli, Manpower Minister Yassierli has conveyed a proposed plan for the 2026 National Internship Programme.
In a working meeting with Commission IX of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) on Thursday (9/4/2026), Yassierli revealed that Kemnaker is proposing an increase in the quota for the 2026 National Internship Programme to 150,000 participants. Currently, Kemnaker has submitted the proposal to the President and is awaiting budget availability.
“Moving forward, we want more and more young people to have the opportunity to learn, try, and prepare themselves to face the world of work. Likewise, industry will become more advanced and productive by obtaining talented young talent,” stated Yassierli.
Provisions of the Kemnaker National Internship Programme
Based on the Maganghub Kemnaker website, the National Internship Programme provides opportunities for university graduates to receive on-the-job training with mentoring, guidance, and supervision from mentors or workers experienced in the industry. The hope is that this programme can enhance specific skills or expertise for university graduates.
So far, there is no official information on the mechanism for the 2026 Kemnaker National Internship Programme. If referring to last year’s regulations, registration will be conducted through the maganghub.kemnaker.go.id website. Previously, participants were also required to register an account on the siapkerja.kemnaker.go.id website and complete the necessary data, such as biodata, education, work experience, training, and so on.

Indonesian Citizen (WNI)
Graduate of Diploma or Bachelor’s programme, maximum 1 year at the time of registering for the internship programme, counted from the date of the diploma issuance
From a Higher Education Institution registered with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendiktisaintek)
After being declared to meet these requirements, prospective participants can then follow the recruitment process on the Maganghub Kemnaker website. Subsequently, prospective participants who pass the administrative selection will undergo the recruitment process at the chosen company.
