PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) has reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability by winning four awards at the Indonesia Sustainability Award 2026. The awards include Best ESG in Infrastructure & Property, ESG Excellence – BUMN, Sustainable Innovation Award, and the ESG Leadership Excellence Award presented to WIKA’s Director of Human Capital Management and Transformation, Hadjar Seti Adji.

This achievement recognises WIKA’s consistency in strengthening the implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, supporting the national energy transition agenda, and building corporate governance that is integrated, transparent, and sustainable. The Indonesia Sustainability Award 2026 is given to companies and individuals deemed to have made tangible contributions to advancing sustainability practices in Indonesia. Assessment is conducted independently, considering environmental performance, social responsibility, corporate governance, ESG innovation, sustainability reporting transparency, and leadership commitment to sustainable development.

WIKA’s Director of Human Capital Management and Transformation, Hadjar Seti Adji, stated that the award serves as both recognition and motivation for the company to further strengthen ESG integration across all aspects of its business. “This award is not just an achievement, but also a mandate for WIKA to continue strengthening the integration of ESG into our business strategy, governance, work culture, and operations. For WIKA, sustainability has become part of the transformation strategy to build a more resilient, adaptive, and competitive company,” he said.

In recent years, WIKA has continued to reinforce its sustainability foundation through the development of an ESG roadmap, ESG-based risk management, the creation of low-carbon construction solutions, and various programmes supporting the Net Zero Emission 2055 target, including energy efficiency, emission control, renewable energy use, and green construction development. Moving forward, WIKA will continue to strengthen ESG implementation through the development of a sustainable business portfolio, enhanced project governance, human capital strengthening, and innovation development to support low-carbon infrastructure. With the spirit of “Reviving Strength, Driving Growth,” WIKA is committed to making a real contribution to Indonesia’s sustainable development.
