WIKA to Propose Rp27.8 Trillion Debt Restructuring for 2026
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) will propose a debt restructuring worth Rp27.8 trillion in 2026.
This amount consists of Rp10.2 trillion in sukuk and bonds, as well as Rp17.6 trillion in bank debt.
“Therefore, we will complete the entire debt restructuring, planned for 2026, amounting to Rp10.2 trillion for bonds and sukuk, and Rp17.6 trillion for banking. We will communicate and discuss this with the banks,” said WIKA Finance Director Mulyadi during a virtual public exposure (pubex) in Jakarta on Thursday.
He stated that the company will also hold a General Meeting of Bondholders (RUPO) and a General Meeting of Sukuk Holders (RUPSU) to discuss agreements regarding the duration, yield, coupons, and interest rates.
Furthermore, Mulyadi explained that the state-owned construction firm plans to settle its banking debt obligations through the divestment of several subsidiary assets valued at approximately Rp5.5 trillion. The proceeds from these divestments will be returned to the parent company in the form of a shareholder loan.
In addition to the debt restructuring, WIKA will refocus on its core business, which is expected to generate significant returns, specifically a minimum of 8 per cent for joint operation (JO) projects and above 10 per cent for standard projects.
