WIKA Strengthens Position as Sustainable Global Leading Contractor

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) has once again achieved global recognition by securing three Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) awards up to April 2026. These awards further solidify WIKA’s position as a leader in sustainability within the construction sector.

At the 11th Global Good Governance (3G) Awards 2026 held in Singapore, WIKA received two awards: the 3G ESG Championship Award (Indonesia) 2026 and the 3G Excellence Award for the Advocacy and Promotion of Sustainability 2026. These recognitions acknowledge WIKA’s success in integrating ESG principles into its business strategy and strengthening corporate governance practices.

Additionally, WIKA earned the Trusted Diamond Achievement in Emission Transparency at the Best Corporate Emission Reduction Transparency Awards 2026, reflecting the company’s commitment to maintaining emission transparency and promoting sustainable business practices.

In line with these achievements, WIKA continues to strengthen the implementation of ESG as its primary strategy through a decarbonisation roadmap targeting Net Zero Emissions by 2055, as well as the development of a sustainable green infrastructure portfolio, supported by energy efficiency and circular economy-based waste management.

WIKA’s President Director, Agung Budi Waskito, stated that WIKA positions ESG not merely as compliance, but as a strategic competitive advantage in winning markets and creating long-term value.
