WIKA Serang Panimbang Invites Motorists to Join 'Freedom Flag Selfie Challenge' at Toll Gate
In order to enliven the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, PT Wijaya Karya Serang Panimbang is presenting the campaign “Selfie Challenge: Bendera Merdeka di Gerbang Tol” for users of the Serang–Panimbang Toll Road.
The campaign, which runs from 13 August to 23 August 2026, invites road users to celebrate the spirit of independence in a simple, creative and enjoyable way through a selfie moment with the Red and White flag at the Rangkasbitung Toll Gate.
Through this campaign, road users travelling on the Serang–Panimbang Toll Road can take a Red and White flag that has been provided at the Rangkasbitung Toll Gate, then capture their journey moment by taking a photo with the flag as a form of participation in enlivening Independence Day.
To join the “Selfie Challenge: Bendera Merdeka di Gerbang Tol”, participants simply need to follow the Instagram and TikTok accounts @wikaserpan, take a Red and White flag available at the Serang–Panimbang Toll Gate, and then take a selfie with the flag.
Next, participants can scan a QR code, fill in the form provided, and upload their selfie photo according to the campaign mechanism. Participants are also required to mention the @wikaserpan account on their Instagram story upload as part of the participation requirements.
Not only is it part of the Independence Day celebration, this campaign also gives participants the opportunity to win prizes in the form of e-money balances worth millions of rupiah through a draw mechanism, in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions.
Through this activity, WIKA Serang Panimbang wants to bring the atmosphere of independence closer to the public’s activities, especially road users. The spirit of the Red and White is expected to be present not only in various celebratory events, but also to become part of the public’s daily journeys.

The Serang–Panimbang Toll Road is part of a toll road network connected to the Trans Java Toll Road linking Jakarta, Serang and Pandeglang. This toll road is expected to improve connectivity and accessibility in the Banten region, particularly in Central and South Banten, as well as to encourage economic growth and tourism in the Banten area.
