WIKA Resumes Group Travel and Ramadan Bazaar Programmes This Year
PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) has reaffirmed its commitment to benefiting society through the implementation of the BUMN Group Travel Programme and Ramadan Bazaar. These initiatives are part of the company’s corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programme.
The programmes align with this year’s travel campaign theme, “Safe Travel, Shared Hope”, and represent tangible corporate contributions to supporting public comfort during Hari Raya celebrations whilst promoting economic growth for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The activities form part of the BUMN Free Travel Programme 2026, coordinated by Danantara and BP BUMN.
For this year’s Group Travel Programme, WIKA Group is facilitating 408 participants comprising members of the general public and company frontline workers. Participants are departing from the Gelora Bung Karno complex and WIKA’s head office heading to several cities across Java.
To ensure smooth travel, WIKA has provided 10 bus fleets with routes to Malang, Purworejo, Solo, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya. The programme targets workers and residents in the company’s operational areas, particularly those with lower-to-middle incomes, enabling them to travel home safely, comfortably, and affordably.
Beyond the travel programme, WIKA is also hosting a Ramadan Bazaar featuring 39 tenant SMEs partnering with WIKA Group. The vendors operate in food and beverages, fashion, and handicrafts sectors. All participants are SMEs supported by WIKA Group, including participation from disability foundations as a demonstration of the company’s commitment to promoting inclusivity and economic empowerment.
The Ramadan Bazaar represents part of the company’s ongoing contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, through creating business opportunities and enhancing SME capacity and competitiveness for sustainable development.
WIKA Chief Executive Officer Agung Budi Waskito stated that the company’s participation in the Group Travel Programme and Ramadan Bazaar demonstrates its commitment to delivering broader social benefits to society.
“Through the Group Travel Programme and Ramadan Bazaar, WIKA hopes to facilitate people’s ability to celebrate Hari Raya with their families in their hometowns whilst promoting economic growth for our partner SMEs. WIKA will continue to develop TJSL programmes that generate positive impact for society and support inclusive and sustainable economic development,” Agung said in a written statement on Tuesday (17 March 2026).
Through these social programmes, WIKA aims to continue delivering tangible benefits to society whilst strengthening the company’s role in supporting inclusive and sustainable economic development in Indonesia.
