WIKA Realty Strengthens Green Building Management Standards Through Ecosystem Preservation at WIKASATRIAN
PT Wijaya Karya Realty (WIKA Realty) has reinforced the excellence of its Building Management services through the ‘We Care’ concept in managing the 10-hectare integrated green ecosystem owned by PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) at WIKASATRIAN, Bogor. This move is part of the company’s transformation strategy to deliver sustainable property governance through humanistic hospitality standards that combine modern building management with nature conservation to create a safe, comfortable, and productive asset environment.
Under WIKA Realty’s management, the greening of WIKASATRIAN has been developed into an Integrated Green Ecosystem that combines conservation with innovation and economic value. One of the management innovations involves optimising water resources by utilising natural springs for efficient area irrigation, as well as applying tissue culture (in vitro) technology to ensure the consistent sustainability of plant seedlings.
The management excellence also includes biodiversity conservation that has been validated through a study by a research team from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), which found more than 60 plant species from 40 families thriving in the WIKASATRIAN area. Through the We Care concept, WIKA Realty consistently maintains flora diversity, including 14 species of medicinal plants such as Schima wallichii and independent food sources. Beyond preserving the natural environment, We Care implements a circular economy system by processing organic waste into compost and Eco Enzyme as an environmentally friendly natural cleaning agent. Green economic value is also enhanced through the downstream processing of endemic plants into essential oils and the creation of Ecoprint artworks from natural leaves.
Rohmat Yunanto, as Property Head, emphasised that environmental sustainability has now become a key standard in improving the quality and value of managed assets. “Through the We Care concept, we want to prove that Building Management can go hand in hand with nature conservation.
