WIKA Group Family Distributes Aid and Donations for Communities in NTT

The WIKA Group family has mobilised to assist communities in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) through the distribution of aid as a form of concern for people affected by disasters. The aid was collected by WIKA Group employees through WIKA’s Islamic spiritual development unit (BINTAL Islam WIKA).

The assistance distributed covers various basic community needs, consisting of essential items such as fruit, blankets, children’s milk, ready-to-eat sardines and instant noodles. In addition to logistical aid, WIKA Group employees also raised donations to support the fulfilment of community needs in NTT.

WIKA Corporate Secretary Ngatemin said the assistance reflects the concern and spirit of mutual cooperation of the WIKA Group family in helping communities. “We want to be present and help our brothers and sisters in NTT through what we can provide. This assistance is the result of the care and mutual cooperation of the WIKA Group family. We hope the aid in the form of basic necessities and donations distributed can provide benefits and ease the community’s needs,” said Ngatemin.

According to him, concern for communities is an inseparable part of WIKA’s existence as a company that grows together with society. Therefore, WIKA continues to encourage the participation and togetherness of WIKA Group personnel to provide benefits for the environment and communities.

The distribution of this aid is also part of the implementation of WIKA’s Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL), which is not only oriented towards infrastructure development but also towards efforts to provide social benefits for communities.
