WIKA Achieves ESG Score of 64/100 from S&P Global Sustainable 2025
PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) has demonstrated strengthened sustainability performance by achieving an ESG Score of 64/100 based on the assessment by international rating agency S&P Global Sustainable through the 2025 Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). This achievement represents a significant increase compared to the previous year’s score of 53/100 and surpasses the global average for the Construction & Engineering industry, which stands at 31/100.
“In the Construction & Engineering sector, WIKA has secured the 13th ranking globally out of 234 companies, whilst also achieving the 5th ranking in the Asia-Pacific region and becoming the top-ranked Construction & Engineering company in Indonesia,” stated WIKA Chief Executive Officer Agung BW in a written statement on Friday, 27 February 2026.
He explained that the S&P Global ESG assessment was conducted comprehensively through evaluation of corporate information disclosure, participation in the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), media and stakeholder analysis, and a sustainability data modelling approach.
Agung BW stated that this achievement is the result of the company’s consistency in implementing sustainability-based business transformation. According to him, this aligns with the company’s decarbonisation strategy. WIKA has set a target to achieve Net Zero Emission (NZE) by 2055 as a genuine contribution to the sustainable development agenda and the strengthening of the company’s competitive position in the global construction industry.
“This ESG Score achievement serves as evidence of WIKA’s commitment to ensuring that every development project not only generates economic value but also delivers sustainable social and environmental benefits. ESG will continue to be the principal foundation for the company’s transformation towards resilient growth, global competitiveness, and support for achieving the National Sustainable Development Goals,” concluded Agung BW.
