WIKA Achieves ESG Score of 64/100 from S&P Global 2025
PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) has demonstrated strengthened sustainability performance by achieving an ESG score of 64/100 based on the assessment by international rating agency S&P Global Sustainable through the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) for 2025.
This achievement represents a significant increase from the previous year’s score of 53/100 and exceeds the global average for the Construction & Engineering sector, which stands at 31/100.
In the Construction & Engineering sector, WIKA has secured the 13th position globally among 234 companies, the 5th position in the Asia-Pacific region, and the 1st ranked Construction & Engineering company in Indonesia.
S&P Global’s ESG assessment is conducted comprehensively through evaluation of corporate information transparency, participation in the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), media and stakeholder analysis, and sustainability data modelling approaches.
WIKA’s Chief Executive Officer, Agung BW, stated that this achievement represents the company’s consistent commitment to implementing sustainability-based business transformation.
“This ESG score achievement demonstrates WIKA’s commitment to ensuring that every development project not only creates economic value, but also delivers social and environmental benefits in a sustainable manner. ESG will continue to be the foundation of the company’s transformation towards resilient growth, global competitiveness, and support for achieving Indonesia’s Sustainable Development Goals,” Agung BW said in an official statement on Friday, 27 February 2026.
In line with the company’s decarbonisation strategy, WIKA has also set a target of achieving Net Zero Emission (NZE) by 2055 as a tangible contribution to the sustainable development agenda and strengthening the company’s competitiveness in the global construction industry.
