WIFI Subsidiary Officially Issues IDR 2.4 Trillion Samurai Bonds
PT Integrasi Jaringan Ekosistem, a subsidiary of PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (WIFI), has successfully raised funding through the issuance of Samurai Bonds, or Japanese yen-denominated bonds, on the Japanese capital market, totalling JPY 21.4 billion. The Samurai Bond issuance was carried out in two series. The first series, PT Integrasi Jaringan Ekosistem (WEAVE) Japanese Yen Bonds First Series (2026) (Tranche I), has a three-year tenor with an issuance value of JPY 19.4 billion and a fixed interest rate of 3.40% per annum. Meanwhile, the second series, Second Series (2026) (Tranche II), was issued with a five-year tenor worth JPY 2 billion and offers a coupon of 3.92% per annum. Thus, the total funds raised from both series reached JPY 21.4 billion. The company disclosed that the Samurai Bonds received a BBB+ rating from Japan Credit Rating Agency, Ltd. (JCR). The funds obtained from the Samurai Bonds issuance will be used by PT Integrasi Jaringan Ekosistem to support business development, including capital expenditure for the development, expansion, and maintenance of the Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) network and its supporting telecommunications infrastructure, fulfilment of working capital needs, refinancing or repayment of existing debt facilities, and general corporate needs in accordance with applicable regulations. The Samurai Bonds issuance by PT Integrasi Jaringan Ekosistem is expected to have a positive impact on the financial condition and business development of the Group by providing competitive long-term funding sources and diversifying access to international capital markets. Furthermore, the proceeds can support the acceleration of telecommunications infrastructure and digital network development, thereby strengthening operational capacity and supporting the achievement of the company’s long-term growth strategy.
