Wife of State-Owned Bank Branch Head Demands Harsh Punishment and Dismissal from TNI for Husband's Murder Suspects

JAKARTA – The wife of the head of a state-owned bank branch, Mohammad Ilham Pradipta, namely Puspita Aulia, has requested that the panel of judges at the Military Court II-08 in Jakarta impose heavy sentences on the defendants in the case of her husband’s murder. Puspita made this request while appearing as an additional witness during the trial held at the Military Court II-08 in Jakarta on Monday (11/5/2026). In the case, three TNI members are accused of involvement: Serka Mochamad Nasir, Kopda Feri Herianto, and Serka Frengky Yaru. Puspita also requested that the panel of judges impose the sanction of dishonourable dismissal (PTDH) from military service on the defendants. She believes that the actions have tarnished the TNI institution. “Considering the organised actions of the defendants, I request that there be no legal leniency in any form so that this punishment serves as a warning that no military personnel can misuse their authority to oppress the people, thereby maintaining public trust in the law within the military environment,” Puspita explained. “I, on behalf of the family, am submitting a claim for restitution compensation to the defendants as we have processed through the LPSK,” she stated. Previously, the Jakarta Military Prosecutor’s Office charged Serka Mochamad Nasir, Kopda Feri Herianto, and Serka Franky Yari in the premeditated murder case against Mohammad Ilham Pradipta at the Military Court II-08 in Jakarta. In addition to the main charge of premeditated murder, the prosecutor also submitted a subsidiary charge of ordinary murder if the main charge is not proven in the trial. “Article 338 of the Criminal Code jo Article 55 paragraph 1 first of the Criminal Code jo Article 458 paragraph 1 of Law Number 1 of 2023 on the Criminal Code jo Article 20 letter d,” stated the Military Prosecutor. “Article 333 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code jo Article 55 paragraph 1 first of the Criminal Code jo Article 451 jo Article 20 letter d of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 1 of 2023 on the Criminal Code,” he added. Specifically for defendant Nasir, the prosecutor also added a charge related to concealing the victim’s death. “Article 181 of the Criminal Code jo Article 55 paragraph 1 first of the Criminal Code jo Article 270 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 1 of 2023 on the Criminal Code jo Article 20 letter a of Law Number 1 of 2023 on the Criminal Code,” he concluded.
