Wife of Fredy Pratama's Associate Frans Also Detained by Bareskrim

The Directorate of Narcotics Crime at Bareskrim Polri has arrested Frans Antony, an associate of drug lord Fredy Pratama, in Malaysia. Police also detained his wife, PN. “His wife had been accompanying him during his time on the run,” said Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, Director of Narcotics Crime at Bareskrim Polri, at the Bareskrim building in South Jakarta on Friday (19/6/2026). Eko stated that the wife has not yet been named a suspect. He mentioned that investigators will conduct further examinations. “Not yet. We will certainly examine her; it is still developing. This is only the first day since their arrival. There will be developments in a week or two,” Eko said. Frans was arrested by the Narcotics Crime Directorate of Bareskrim Polri on Thursday (18/6) in Malaysia. He arrived at the Bareskrim building today after being flown from Malaysia. Frans and his wife remained silent from the moment they were taken out of the vehicle until they were brought into the Bareskrim building. Eko conveyed that Frans frequently moved locations within Thailand. Frans Antony and Fredy Pratama were friends during high school in South Kalimantan (Kalsel). Fredy Pratama started his illicit business in Malang, East Java. “Frans Antony is a close associate of Fredy Pratama and they attended the same high school in Kalsel. Fredy initiated and controlled the early narcotics network from Malang,” he said. Frans is suspected of being the financial controller of the Fredy Pratama syndicate. He allegedly collected money from Fredy’s drug business and transported it from Indonesia to Thailand.
